UPCOMING EVENTS

Stalls & Tricks
You’ve learned how to drop in and frontside stall – now it’s time to level up! In this workshop, we explore the world of stalls and tricks on the coping.
In this workshop we explore the many variations of stalls and tricks on the coping!
Participants need to bring their own roller skates, helmets and protective gear (wrist guards, knee & elbow pads). For this workshop you will also need slide blocks - it’s possible to drop in and stall without them, but you will be much more stable on the coping if you have these mounted. Extra tip: If you want even more protection, check out our recommended crash pads!
Park Stars Level 1
Until now, Park Stars was offered as a 4-week course at the Xciting Funhall – but this year, we're bringing it to the outdoors as a one-weekend workshop: the perfect way to start park skating in the fresh air at Grünanger Skatepark!
In Level 1 you’ll learn the basics of pumping on ramps, using your toe stops in the park, and trying out some fun beginner tricks. No previous skatepark experience is required – you just need to feel comfortable with the basics on flat ground.
Our goal is to help you overcome fear and build the confidence to enjoy skateparks on your own!

Roller Rink Meet Up
Together we will transform this space into our own little outdoor Roller Disco! Bring your roller skates and whatever padding you feel safest with. All ages and levels can join this Roller Rink Meet Up and parents are welcome to bring strollers onto the rink. We skate counter clockwise in circles using the outer circle of the rink for faster skating, the inner circle for slower skating and the middle for jam skating and footwork. No registration is necessary to participate and the entry is donation-based (5-10€ suggested).

Open Space Meet Up
Open Space is an outdoor meet up for roller skaters of all ages and levels. Our goal is to create a safe space for skaters to get together, exchange tips and tricks and have fun skating in a supportive environment. We meet every first and third Sunday of the month at Augarten Skatepark - This location is mostly used for park skating, but there are also some areas for skating on flat ground. No registration is needed and everyone is welcome to join!

Summer Camp: Rollschule Week 4
Our Summer Camp "Rollschule" is a one-week roller skating adventure for kids and teens ages 8 and up - all levels are welcome! Each day we visit exciting new skate spots in Graz. We speak mostly English, so the kids get to improve both their roller skating and language skills at the same time. On our breaks we play games and learn all about the history of roller skating and other skate related topics. After a long day of skating and fun, we sit down for a picnic in the park - 100% plant based, fresh and made with love.
