Park Stars Level 1
Until now, Park Stars was offered as a 4-week course at the Xciting Funhall – but this year, we're bringing it to the outdoors as a one-weekend workshop: the perfect way to start park skating in the fresh air at Grünanger Skatepark!
In Level 1 you’ll learn the basics of pumping on ramps, using your toe stops in the park, and trying out some fun beginner tricks. No previous skatepark experience is required – you just need to feel comfortable with the basics on flat ground.
Our goal is to help you overcome fear and build the confidence to enjoy skateparks on your own!
Stalls & Tricks
You’ve learned how to drop in and frontside stall – now it’s time to level up! In this workshop, we explore the world of stalls and tricks on the coping.
In this workshop we explore the many variations of stalls and tricks on the coping!
Participants need to bring their own roller skates, helmets and protective gear (wrist guards, knee & elbow pads). For this workshop you will also need slide blocks - it’s possible to drop in and stall without them, but you will be much more stable on the coping if you have these mounted. Extra tip: If you want even more protection, check out our recommended crash pads!
